YOUTH REC - REFEREE

Re-emphasizing the General Safety RuleĀ

Players Equipment: Jewelry of any kind (including small stud earrings and religious emblems) and hard casts may not be worn during practices or games. This is a safety issue. Players with recently pierced ears cannot participate until the earrings can be removed, so please plan accordingly so they are able to remove the earrings before the first practices and games. As required by IFAB Soccer Laws (click here to view), a player must not use equipment or wear anything that is dangerous. All items of jewelry (necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, leather bands, rubber bands, etc.) are forbidden and must be removed. Players must be inspected before the start of the match and substitutes before they enter the field of play. If a player is wearing or using unauthorized/dangerous equipment or jewelry, the referee must order the player to remove the item, or leave the field of play at the next stoppage. Using tape to cover jewelry is not permitted. A player who refuses to comply or wears the item again must be cautioned (e.g., given Yellow Card). The IFAB laws apply except as modified for each league as listed of each League's specific Laws.

Please send your recertification payment receipt in an email to recrefs@wwpsa.org.

Referee Payments

All referees (Center Ref and AR) need to send the game report with the score by the end of day of the games. This is the only way for us to know if you did the games, so we can pay you. If we don't get the score, you may not get paid.

Payments are made twice during each season, first payment during mid season and 2nd payment after the end of season.

TaxesIf you make $600 or more working with WWPSA in a calender year, we needs you to fill out W9 form. Please fill out the form and email it to recrefs@wwpsa.org
