Without your continued support, WWPSA will have to reduce the number of programs currently offered.
The Club is looking to fill the following roles:
1. Spring Recreation Director:
John is looking to leave this role immediately. John is willing to assist during the transition and offer his experience during the season. This person would make the adjustments and decisions for the Spring Recreation program and try to fill the open positions.
2. Recreation Uniform Distribution:
1 or 2 coordinators required. Main responsibility is to train volunteers at the Tuesday and Thursday evening Uniform Distributions sessions and manage at least one Saturday’s sessions.
3. Recreation Parent Supervisor Coordinator:
Main job would be to confirm that we have parent field supervisors every week. The field supervisors would not have to coach and would only be present to watch for any injuries.
4. Recreation Volunteer Coordinator:
Main responsibility would be to keep a record of the volunteers’ roles and place them effectively on small Recreational soccer projects, e.g., Uniform Distribution Day, Goal Fest 3v3, etc.
5. Sunburst Tournament Directors:
This would be an ideal position for two or three people to work together. Both the Sunburst directors are in their transition year and looking for you to contact them to begin shadowing their roles.
6. Director of Facilities:
Howard has been in this position for a few years and has plenty of experience of offer. 2011 will be Howard’s transition year. This position would suit 1-2 people (2 would make light work).
7. 3v3 Goal Fest Tournament Director:
This position has been vacant for 6 months and has been temporarily filled by Justin. This position needs a willing person to plan, organize and run this fun Recreational-soccer-only tournament.
8. Travel Volunteer Co-ordinator
Main responsibility would be to keep a record of the volunteers’roles and place them effectively on Travel soccer projects, e.g., Skills Challenge, Sunburst, etc.
9. Annual Awards Ceremony Committee
WWPSA is planning an annual event to bring the club together; Photos and trophies are to be given.
10.Google Maps Developer:
The Club is finding ways to increase sponsorship options and this is an option to provide additional value to our sponsors through our website.
11.Director of Community Relations, Publicity and Events:
The Club is in need of a person to assist the promotion of WWPSA events and manage the monthly publication of The Goal Post.
