About the Program Directors:
Stoyan Pumpalov is an accomplished soccer professional with tremendous playing, teaching and coaching experience. Stoyan played professionally both in his native country, Bulgaria, and in Malta, participating in more than 450 professional games during his 20 year career. Stoyan was a member of Bulgaria’s U16, U18 and U21 National Teams. Stoyan holds UEFA “A” coaching license. In 2000, Stoyan moved to the United States and since has been involved with Youth Soccer in the New Jersey area. For seven years Stoyan was the Director of Training for Princeton Soccer Association. When coaching Stoyan aims to teach his players how to reach a more advanced level in the game of soccer. Specific areas of focus are techniques, tactics, strategy and psychology. His teaching methods and coaching abilities have been demonstrated by the success of his teams. In 2007 Stoyan’s U16 Boys team won the NJ State Cup and reached Regional 1 Semi-finals.
