Business:
- Approved
making a $100 donation to M Jankowski Memorial Fund.
- Renee
Schoener will be removed from the Board and she has resigned the Girls 4th
league manager position.
- Approved
Laura Poyd as Girls 4th Grade league manager.
- Approved
Hector Miranda as Girls Senior league manager.
- Approved
that in the future there will be no late fees for pre-K. We will refund
already paid late fees for K players only.
- Approved
distribution of MCCC game and clinic information.
- Approved
motion to send out information for interest in a second WWPSA adult soccer
team.
- Robin
stated he would prefer to someone take over as Chair of the Code of
Conduct Committee.
- Proposed
that the next meeting for the Structure Committee be held on Sept 12th at
8:30 pm at McCaffery’s. All officers should please attend; all others are
welcome to attend.
- Motion
for the Wildcats to use the WWCP soccer fields:
9 members voted for item A and 4 voted for item B – A below is approved:
- A.
The Wildcats football program be allowed to use the lower soccer WWCP
fields on the mornings of 9/11, 9/18, 9/25 and 10/9 for their flag and Mity
Mights programs provided that football agrees:
- They
will not use the field if it is raining or the ground is wet.
- All
chairs and other such items may only be place outside of the soccer
field’s perimeter. Parents may not set up their chairs on the soccer
field to watch the game.
- They
will not line the fields or install any permanent items on the fields.
- Ages
are limited so games only include the smallest kids.
- All
games are completed by noon
- Motion
for portable light sharing with Football at Conover:
Approved item B and changed verbiage to read Approved spending no more
than $13,000 to purchase at least 4 portable lights to be placed at Zaitz
for the exclusive use of WWPSA. Football's proposal is rejected.…….
- Equipment
pick up will be Aug 27th from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Contact Larry White if
you need to arrange a different time.
- US
Soccer Foundation Grant Application - We need a volunteer to prepare a
grant application to be submitted to US Soccer Foundation to obtaining
funding to build and improve our fields. Please response to
soccer@wwpsa.org if you are willing to do this for WWPSA.
- Player
and coach development – board has agreed to have interested parties play
the fee for the Rutger’s course and they will be reimbursed upon
completion.
- Approved
sending letter to those people disqualified from coaching and changed
verbiage to delete last sentence.
