• Email motion on Grievance committee and additional motion to appoint Karen Duffy as 4th member of the grievance committee is approved.
• Max Soumeillant of the MCAMSL spoke to us and asked us to consider allowing them to use our fields on 7 weekends and 4 games over each weekend. Discussed pros and cons. Will it affect the kids, will it affect the fields? There was a motion to bring the MCAMSL in to share resources and fields: favor:3 opposed:5. Defeated.
• There was a motion as follows: There cannot be a use of our logo or patch or any implied endorsement of the WWPSA without the express written consent of the Board of the WWPSA. Approved.
• Pat went through the finance statements.
• Howard reported on travel: There were 32 teams in the Spring and will be 35 in the fall, and maybe going up to 38. Need more fields. Getting ready for the Fall.
• Motion: $5000 of the Sunburst $ can it be used for improved training of travel kids, for use of fields with lights. Howard is hoping to be able to work with a college towards this. Approved.
• Motion: To participate in program with college for rec players to play at half time at college. Approved.
• Motion: For senior league to play with East Windsor PAL league seniors for extra games. EW has lighted fields and they can play during the week. Motion was to pursue relationship with EW PAL senior league. Approved.
• Referees: Question is do we have a plan B, as we have not heard back from our rec ref coordinator after repeated attempts to contact him.
• Eva: Regarding sponsorship. It’s slow this year. Maybe we should consider reducing the cost.
