Saturday, November 22, 2008 - West Windsor, NJ: Stronghold came to town and brought the frigid, wintry wind with them, driving many fans to their cars to watch the game. However, the Terminators’ faithful braved the cold and cheered on their team as they showed pinpoint passing and control as they defeated the visiting Stronghold team, 2-0. The win represents the final game for the Terminators’ fall season, bringing their record to 4-5-1 in MAPS.

Saturday, October 25, 2008 - West Windsor, NJ: The Terminators’ magical State Cup run came to an end today after a 1-0 defeat to Medford at Mercer County Park. The boys’ play was strong and effort fierce, but they couldn’t capitalize on several opportunities and finished the State Cup tournament 3-1. We’ll be back next year!

Saturday, October 18, 2008 - West Windsor, NJ: The Terminators came together at home and shut down a tough Marlboro team, 4-0, to advance to the Quarterfinal round of the NJ State Cup. Contributions came from all players at all positions as the Terminators showed their hustle and fired shots from several players at all angles. The next game will be played next Saturday at either Medford Strikers or South Jersey Barons.

Sunday, October 12, 2008 - Yardley, PA: The Terminators’ run through the YMS Columbus Cup ended today with a thrilling semi-final loss to the Chester Valley Galaxy, 1-0 after penalty kicks. A scoreless tie after regulation saw some furious back-and-forth action, but the overtime period also ended with no balls finding the net, and unfortunately, the Terminators ended up short after penalty kicks. They had a strong showing in the tournament, however, which is encouraging heading into their State Cup 3rd round game on Saturday.

Saturday, October 11, 2008 - Yardley, PA: The Terminators brought their strong game to the YMS Columbus Day Tournament by defeating United German Wolf Pack, 4-1, and Sprit United, 6-0. Unselfish play and good possession-type passing kept the Terminators ahead the entire day as they never trailed from the opening kickoff.

Their two wins earned the Terminators a spot in the semi-finals tomorrow against the Chester Valley Galaxy. Good luck, Terminators!

Sunday, October 5, 2008 - Jackson, NJ: The Terminators capped off a strong weekend with a commanding 4-0 win over the host Jackson Raiders. A tight 0-0 game after the first half saw the Terminators come out firing in the second half with goals by four different players.

One of the tenets of the Terminators’ season has been extremely strong defense, with today’s game showing no deviation from this pattern. The Terminators’ defense gave up only a few shots, with none truly testing the GKs. In addition, the defensive line consistently kept the Jackson attack wide and the covering defender provided assistance, when needed.

The boys passed very well, using through balls and well-timed cooperation to move the ball across and up the field. In addition, their aggressiveness showed as they refused to concede loose balls and fought hard to race Jackson at every opportunity.

Coach Pat was pleased with their progress and continues to emphasize their selfless team play and possession-based attack.
