Injury Plagued Challenge Loses Championship On PKs
Over the weekend the WWP Challenge U-14 girls competed in the top flight of the EPIC Tournament (Yardley, PA). The Challenge opened with a 1-0 victory against CRUSA and a 1-1 tie versus CDSA. Both matches were played with poor field conditions, however, the Challenge dominated play but struggled to capitalize on their multiple scoring opportunities.
WWPSA Teams Advance in State Cups
Patriots, Wild & Galaxy all reach the Semi-Finals
Congratulations to the U16 Boys Patriots (NJYS State Cup), U15 Girls Wild (US Club NJ Cup) and U15 Boys Galaxy (NJYS State Cup) who all advanced to semi-finals play.
Challenge Heading To North Carolina
Earlier this week, the WWP Challenge U-14 Girls were officially accepted into The Score Showcase At Greensboro (formerly Score At The Shore) in North Carolina. This prestigious invitational college showcase is considered one of the top tournaments in the country. This showcase has a strong history of attracting top teams from throughout the United States and Canada, as well as hundreds of college coaches and recruiters. The Challenge were amongst the first group of teams to be accepted.

WWPSA is excited to announce that US National Team Captain Christie Pearce Rampone and Olympic Gold Medalist Shannon Boxx will participate in the WWPSA / New Jersey Wildcats Camp in West Windsor, July 7-11, 2008. Christie and Shannon will be in camp on July 7th and 8th only a few weeks before they travel to Beijing, China for the 2008 Olympic Games. Be sure to register before the June 24th deadline.
