Tournament Director
Role & Responsibilities

In order to improve the overall tournament participation experience for our Premier and Classic Travel teams, the WWPSA Travel Executive Committee (TEC) has established the volunteer role of Tournament Director.  We are pleased to announce that beginning this Fall, Bill Gardner will assume this role.

The Tournament Director is responsible for the following primary functions:

• Establishing a list of recommended tournaments for Premier Elite, Premier, and Classic levels
• Assisting Travel Team Managers in the planning and selection of appropriate tournaments
• Collecting and sharing tournament feedback from team managers
• Developing relationships with Tournament Directors from other clubs
• Leveraging information gathered from tournament applications & feedback to improve overall marketability of WWPSA
• Partnering with the Sunburst Tournament Director(s) in augmenting the external awareness of the Sunburst experience

All Tournament Information will be made available via a new section of our website (Travel Tournaments).  The Tournament Director can be reached at tournaments@wwpsa.org.

We are very excited about the establishment of this role and the potential to improve the overall tournament experience.
