The WWP Challenge U-14 Girls played in the round of 16 in the NJYS National Championships tournament on October 20, 2007, and advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating the Pittsgrove Pride 1-0. The Challenge successfully executed their game plan of organizing a strong defensive system against the #4 ranked (NSR) team in New Jersey, resulting in a scoreless draw after both the regular and overtime periods. The game then went to penalty kicks with the Challenge scoring on 3 of 4 chances while not allowing a single goal. In the previous round, the Challenge had utilized a high-pressure attacking system to defeat the #7 state ranked (NSR) Freehold Shooting Stars 3-0.

The quarter finals will played at the neutral Bordentown Friendship Fields site on Sunday, October 28th at 2:15 pm on Field #1. Good luck ladies!
