Welcome to the WWPSA Training & Education website! This section provides information about WWPSA's training and educational programs for players, coaches and parents.

New in 2008:  WWPSA will present a series of educational seminars addressing a wide array of soccer-related topics including college preparation, injury prevention, rules of the game, and more.  Check the link at the left for complete details. All seminars are free.

Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic
Thursday 28th August

WWPSA’s primary mission is to provide a safe soccer experience for our children. To this end, we are sponsoring the Rutgers SAFETY Clinic for parents and coaches. The Rutgers SAFETY Clinic (Sports Awareness For Educating Today’s Youth) is a three-hour program that meets the "Minimum Standards for Volunteer Coaches Safety Orientation and Training Skills Programs"

Summer Recreational Soccer Programs 2008
Pre-K through 8th Grade

WWPSA is pleased to announce its Summer Recreational Soccer Training Program for the 2008 season. Once again, we have teamed up with our Recreation Training partner ProActive Sport and Soccer to provide 3 weeks of camps for players in the Pre-K through 8th Grades.

WWPSA Youth Recreational Training Partner
ProActive Sport selected by Board of Directors
WWPSA selected ProActive Sport as its Official Training Partner for our Youth Recreational Soccer Program. ProActive’s competitive bid was approved by the WWPSA Board of Directors on February 21, 2006 due to:
  • ProActive’s willingness to help the Youth Recreational Soccer Program create a Training Curriculum to help all players and coaches reach their full soccer potential
  • Personal involement and commitment of ProActive’s Director, Nick Harrison
  • Quality of trainers and experience with organization
  • Bid amount.
