Another Sunburst has come and gone, and we saw another year of exciting soccer! We want to make sure to thank everyone for coming, from the teams, coaches, fans and volunteers who helped make Sunburst 2011 memorable. We welcomed 225 teams to West Windsor in flights from U9 through U19, and witnessed countless competitive matches that could have gone either way with just one bounce of the ball.
Tyler Lassiter and Teddy Schneider, two rookies on the New York Red Bulls, stopped by SunburstHQ on Sunday, June 5, signing autographs and taking pictures from 1:15 - 2:45 PM.
We’d also like to recognize the outstanding leadership and contributions from our Tournament Directors, Jacqueline Stein and Diane Kooker, who have grown Sunburst from a locally-known assemblage of teams to a highly-respected, full-service tournament with loyal, thankful participants. This was their fifth Sunburst and without their personal sacrifices throughout the year and valuable ideas and contributions, Sunburst would not be the event it is today. Please join us in thanking them!
