Sunburst 2010 Soccer Tournament

Registration

Team fees for Sunburst 2010 are $425 for small-sided (U8-U10) and $495 for full-sided (U11-U18) teams. Click here to view Tournament Rules, Check-In Procedures, Player Eligibility rules and to register. Once you’re convinced that Sunburst is right for your team, register online to obtain information as early as possible, including e-mail updates on the tournament as we confirm them; we have been forced to close registration before the stated deadline of May 16, 2010 due to an overwhelming response from teams signing up to play.

Who Came to Sunburst 2010?

New York Red Bulls MLS

We are pleased to announce that Dane Richards, a New York Red Bulls midfielder / forward, came to HQ on Sunday, June 6th! Hundreds of fans and their families stopped by to meet the player for autographs. Thanks, Dane, for coming!

In addition to Dane, the Red Bulls sent their Street Soccer team to Sunburst! These exhilarating, highly-skills artists performed magic feats with a soccer ball (or two!) on Sunday afternoon from 1 - 4:30 PM. They wandered around the Tournament HQ area and had a ball (sorry for the pun!) with everyone, including some intrepid young players who joined in the fun. Sky Blue Women’s Professional Soccer

Sunburst was proud to welcome another representative from our local Women’s Professional Soccer team and the WPS 2009 Champions, Sky Blue FC, who sent their GK, Jenni Branam. Jenni was at Tournament HQ on Saturday from 2 - 3:30 PM and signed autographs, took photos and gave our young girls someone to look up to. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello!

Merchandise

Sunburst 2010 Official Tournament merchandise can be purchased at Tournament HQ, Conover Park and Zaitz park. All pre-orders will be given to each team’s coach when they check-in their teams.
