Periodically, WWPSA hosts a Grade 9 referee training course. If you are interested in soccer and would like to make some money participating in your sport, this is a great opportunity. The Grade 9 licensing session will equip you to referee recreation soccer games up to U14. These are paid referee positions. West Windsor, Plainsboro and surrounding towns are in great need of licensed referees.

You must be at least 12 years of age to referee.There is a $15 fee to take the class. At the end of the class a 50 question test will be administered. If you pass, it costs $20 to register as a referee (bring a check to the class). With this registration, you will become an official referee and will have opportunities to referee games. In addition, after only 3 games, WWPSA will provide a $75 reimbursement toward course fees and uniform costs upon proof of payment.

If you would prefer to get involved refereeing travel soccer, the Mid-Jersey Youth Soccer Association hosts Grade 8 referee training. Sessions are planned for the winter. These are also paid referee positions. Registration is available through the Mid-Jersey web site (www.mnjysa.org).
