Three years ago, WWPSA introduced the Pre-K program for players aged 3, 4 and 5. The program has been a tremendous success with more than 150 players participating each spring and fall. The program is provided entirely by professional soccer trainers who are very experienced with this age-group.
Guidelines on How to Manage a One-Sided Game
Strategies for Coaches
Our Recreation Soccer Leagues are intended to provide a safe and fun soccer environment for all of our players while recognizing that soccer is a competitive sport. One of the key ingredients to a good player experience is to ensure competitive games with balanced teams. In 2008, WWPSA will introduce an Opening Day with the primary goal of creating equity between teams. In addition, we introduced in 2007 a policy to address one-sided games.
Fall Rec Home vs. Away Jersey Guidance
In Rec, the first team listed in the schedule wears White and the second team wears Green. Please remember to bring both uniforms with you in case of confusion. So remember, read the schedule: White vs. Green.
WWPSA Soccer Field Usage Procedures
WWPSA requests that all volunteer coaches, parents and players abide by the following field use policies. These are designed for the safety of our players as well as to maintain the quality of the fields and our ability to use them in the future. Please support WWPSA by respecting these policies.
