Information for Fall 2010 Pre-K Program
Pre-K Parents!

As the Fall Rec Season approaches, we are sending out this email to all of the Pre-K families to remind them of important, upcoming events. We are looking forward to all the excited faces we will see in a few weeks. We have put together a checklist and some commonly asked questions to ensure a proper kickoff to the season.

What do I need to have ready for the Season ?
  • A good deal of Patience & Encouragement
  • Shin guards
  • Soccer cleats (preferred) or sneakers that can get muddy
  • A size 3 soccer ball with you child’s name on it
  • A WWPSA Uniform, either from last year or from the Uniform Pickup. The uniform is made up of jersey, shorts and socks that must cover the shin guards
  • Eyeglass straps (if they wear glasses)
  • Drinks
Where do I need to go ?
  • All games will be played at Sarnoff Corporation  - Fisher Place & Fairview Avenue, Princeton
  • Pre-K will use the Center Circle field, which is the same field as previous years
When do I need to be there?
  • The season kicks off on Sept 11th and continues for 8 weeks
  • We have 3 different sessions

                          9:00 am – 10:00 am

                         10:15 am  – 11:15 am

                         11:30 am – 12:30 pm

  • Please stick to your registered session time as we only have trainers to properly handle 50 players at a time.
Please remember to:
  • Treat your child with care, patience and plenty of encouragement.
  • Keep it fun!
  • Don’t be overly concerned if your child chooses not to play either before or during a session
Common Questions:

Where can I pick up my uniform ?
  • Duck Pond Park on Saturday 28th August between 9am and 6pm.
Are there teams for Pre-K ?
  • There are no teams for this age group. Instead there are fun group activities run by the professional trainers

Who will be coaching my child ?

  • For Pre-K, we use professional trainers from ProActive Sport and Soccer. No parent coaching activity is required
What do I need to do if my child can’t make it ?
  • Nothing at all
Where can I get more information ?
  • The best place is always the Fall Rec Web Page as we do our best to make sure all info is posted there. You can contact the Pre-K League manager, prek@wwpsa.org or the Rec Director at rec@wwpsa.org. Please be patient as we respond as time is available on a prioritized basis

We look forward to seeing you over the next few weeks!
