Teams

There are no teams. The sessions consist of fun games and activities with a soccer ball.

Registration Fee

$110 per Pre-K (age 3-5) player, which includes a $30 facilities maintenance and development fund fee. However, should you choose to reuse your uniform (either from Fall 2007 or Spring 2008), you may also select a $20 uniform discount which will reduce your registration fee to $90. If you plan to reuse your child’s Fall ’07 or Spring ’08 uniform again, please indicate that you wish to register for the "Fall Rec Uniform Discount", in addition to "Fall Rec Soccer".  If you need financial assistance, please contact the Director of Recreation Soccer.

Registration Deadline

Space will be limited to 50 players per session and sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Once a session is full, we will accept registrations for our wait list by charging your credit card and will notify you when a spot is available.

Payments & Mail in Registration

When registering online, the preferred method of payment is by credit card. If needed, you can also pay by check, but your registration is not considered complete until we receive your check; only then is your child’s space in the program confirmed.

Refunds

Dates, Sessions & Location

Saturdays at Sarnoff Corporation. Your choice of sessions, subject to availability:

9:00 am - 10:00 am

10:15 am - 11:15 am

11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Each player will receive one free group photograph and a participation award at the end of the season. Players can purchase additional group and individual photographs. Picture Day will be held in October at a location that will be announced at a later date.

Parking

The safety of our children is more important than our personal convenience. Therefore, please DRIVE SLOWLY, watch out for children, be considerate and park ONLY in designated parking areas. Please do not park on the grass and DO NOT DROP OFF OR PICK UP CHILDREN ALONG THE ROAD. Please do not wait in your car at the field entrance for your children - this creates a real hazard and potential danger to others.

Pets

Please do not bring dogs or other pets to the sessions.

Uniforms and Equipment

Players will receive a uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks).  All players are required to provide their own:

• Shin guards - must be worn inside socks.
• Soccer cleats (preferred) or sneakers. Baseball or metal cleats are not allowed.
• Soccer ball (Size 3). Please write your child’s name on the ball using a permanent marker.
• Eyeglass straps (if they wear glasses)
• Drinks and snacks.

Mouthpieces are optional.

Jewelry and Hard Casts

Jewelry of any kind (including small stud earings) and hard casts may not be worn during practices or games. Players with recently pierced ears cannot participate until the earrings can be removed, so please plan accordingly.  Do not have your child’s ears pierced before the season at such time as would prevent the earings from being removed at the time of the first session.

Cancellations

Please check our website (http://www.wwpsa.org) for session cancellations due to the weather and park closures. Cancellations will be announced by 8:00 am for Saturday sessions. There will be no phone chain announcements of these cancellations. The decision will be made separately for two age-ranges as follows: (a) Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades and (b) 3rd Grades and older.  We anticipate, in the event of very cold weather, we may decide to cancel events for the youngest ages while retaining the possibility to continue with scheduled games for older age groups.
