New Jersey Wildcats Announce Tryout Dates
Club Begins Preparation for 14th Season
Princeton, N.J. (Thursday, November 13, 2008) - The New Jersey Wildcats of the USL W-League officially announced today the tryout dates for those interested in joining the team for the 2009 season, set to begin in May. The Wildcats are looking to strengthen their roster through the player auditions, which are slated to begin at the end of the month.
NJ Wildcats Open Training Sessions
For U19/ U20/ U23 Players
The New Jersey Wildcats will host open training sessions for their U23, U20 and U19 teams as follows:
- Session 1: November 29 and 30, 9am-11am, Mercer County Park (Quakerbridge Fields 14/15)
- Session 2: December 27 and 28, 7:15am-8:45am, Robbinsville Fieldhouse

U.S. Women's Olympic Team Win Gold

WWPSA would like to congratulate the U.S. Women’s Olympic Team who narrowly defeated a strong Brazilian team to win their third gold medal in the last four Olympic games. It took 98 minutes for the U.S. to score the only goal of the game. Excellent goalkeeping and defense and a strong finish helped the team to victory. The U.S. team included Captain Christie Pearce Rampone and Shannon Boxx who recently participated in WWPSA's Camp of Champions in July before departing to Beijing, China to win Gold.

Wildcats Kick Off Partnership
New Jersey Wildcats coaches and players hosted their first ever SOCCER SKILLS program for WWPSA Rec players on Monday evening at Conover Park. Helped by glorious weather, the first session proved a hit with the girls who had a great time. The Wildcats will be hosting similar sessions in future weeks. Check here for more details.
Wildcats Host Soccer Skills Program
Free Sessions for WWPSA Girls
Following the recent announcement of a strategic partnership between WWPSA and the New Jersey Wildcats, we are pleased to introduce the SOCCER SKILLS program, hosted by Wildcats coaches and players. SOCCER SKILLS will take place on Monday evenings at Conover Park and will be FREE to all WWPSA Girls who registered for either Travel or Recreational Soccer programs in the Fall 2007 or Spring 2008.
