WW-P South Class of 2006 and WWP Riptide graduate Kristina Shemming played in the NCAA Division III women’s soccer title game at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Florida. The TCNJ Lions fell to Wheaton College (IL) Thunder by the score of 2-0. Previously, Shemming earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after tallying three goals in a 3-0 week of play for the Lions. She opened the week by tallying a goal in TCNJ’s 3-0 non-conference road win at Gwynedd-Mercy. She added a goal in the Lions’ 3-0 conference win over Rutgers-Camden, before wrapping up the week by tallying a goal in TCNJ’s 8-1 NJAC road victory at Rutgers-Newark. Shemming, who has scored a goal in four consecutive matches for the Lions, currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in goals per game with a mark of 0.71. Shemming formerly played for the WWP Riptide, graduating in 2006.
