Alumni from the WWPSA travel program continue to have success as student-athletes within various NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III programs throughout the country. Below is a summary:

Frostburg State University (FSU) Bobcats junior Lauren Lentine (former WWP Riptide player) took home women’s soccer Player of the Year honors for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. Lentine finished second on the team with 17 total points as she registered six goals and five assists on the season. She also contributed two game-winning goals this season. Lentine has earned All-AMCC honors all three years as a Bobcat. Last season, she was an honorable mention selection and in 2006 she was honored with a first team selection as a freshman. FSU ended the regular season with a 14-2-3 and 8-1 in the AMCC before losing the ECAC South Tournament title in a PK shootout. The Bobcats were also awarded the Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the team’s outstanding performance in the classroom.
 
The Kean University (KU) Cougars junior Jenna Godwin (former WWP Riptide player) earned second-team honors for the second straight year in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Cougars advanced to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Metro Region semifinals and finished the season with a 12-8 overall mark.

Freshmen Gabrielle Haden and Catherine Galton (former WWP Breakaways players) are members of the Philadelphia University Lady Rams which wrapped up the 2008 season with two titles: an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship and a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) regular season championship.  The squad finished with a 12-7-4 overall record, 8-0-3 CACC.
