The WWPSA Men’s Adult Competitive teams, Wasps and Cosmos, had their season opener this Sunday March 22 at the Rider University fields.  Although the Cosmos suffered a 3-0 loss to Team Amici, the score did not tell the story of that game.  The Cosmos moved the ball well, made tough challenges, and generally played well.  The Wasps also played well ending with a 1-1 tie.  Pictured above: On the ball is Liviu Chiriac (U09 Power), behind him Ben Letson (U09 Cheetahs).

A squad from the WWPSA adult competitive program took second place in the Over 30 Men’s Division at the Soccer Resort New York Classic Tournament on August 2 in Brooklyn.  The WWPSA squad entered the final with a 2-1-1 tournament record including a tie with undefeated eventual champion.
