We will play Wednesdays June 22 to Aug 10 for a cost of $60+$30bond/player.  Registration will be limited to the first 180.  Last year we registered to capacity so dont wait.

FIELD: Duck Pond Park (June 22-Aug 10)

We plan to form teams of 10 players.  We will TRY to accomodate team placement requests and if you want to register as an entire team, put the team name in the comment field.  SUGGESTION: use your captain’s last name if you cant decide on a name (e.g. Team Donnelly) as a placeholder and we’ll change it later.

We will have modified rules but the highlights are 5 field players, no goalies with a no player zone at the mouth of the goal, no offsides, and no slide tackles.  League is open to men and women 18yo and over (way over for some of us).  We plan on at least 1 and maybe 2 x 40min games with no break.  Substitutions on the fly.  While competitive play is expected, this is for fun and we dont want to see any broken bones over a 50-50 ball.

BOND:  the $30 volunteer bond is meant to encourage massive support for 2 volunteer efforts at the end of the season details TBA.  Roughly, it will involve 60 or so volunteers each time to spend 3 hours pushing around wheelbarrows of dirt and grass seed on Duck Pond Park, and maybe at Conover.  A good seeding combined with the DPP sprinkler system and a couple of weeks of rest may vastly improve those fields which in turn may enable additional adult programs.  Bonds will be returned after 1 3-hour shift.  Both dates are likely to be Saturdays in July.
